| Welcome to the Big Purple Barn! |
| Welcome to Hidden Haven Farm! We are located in Bowie, Maryland and are easily recognized by local residents and the local equestrian community by our lovely purple barn! Hidden Haven Farm was established in 1991 when we adopted our first horse from the Equine Rescue League in Leesburg, VA. (visit them at www.equinerescueleague.org) Now, 15 years later, we are on a mission to provide permanent homes for horses in need, assist adoption organizations in placing thier equines in need and to educate the general public about the responsibilities and rewards of enjoying these wonderful animals. All of the horses at the farm are permanent residents and all are utilized in our eduation and outreach programs. We hope you will visit our residents page to learn about our very special equines. We have a passion to share our love of horses with the public and we hope you will visit us soon! We offer many customizable programs at nominal fees and we are always open to hosting a private or group tour by appointment. We hope you will visit us soon! |

Hidden Haven Farm currently provides permanent sanctuary to 13 equines. We have several horses and ponies with special needs that we care for 365 days of the year. Many of our special equines were adopted from the Equine Rescue League of Leesburg, VA and the others found their way to us in their times of need. We use our wonderful equines for educational and outreach programs including riding lessons, volunteer programs, youth groups and more!
