Meet the ponies of our P.E.T. Pals club! Pudge, Ernie and Taz are our resident small ponies and are part of a special club for kids that introduces them to horses in a manageable fun size! Our small ponies are well trained, child friendly and ready to teach your child all about the joys of horses. Join our club and you can earn rewards that will make your participation in our programs even better! Our ponies participate in pony play dates, lead line lessons, lessons, show team and outreach programs. Our ponies are able to travel to various outreach events to allow children the opportunity to interact with them and can even travel to schools!
Please note that while we do offer occasional group pony ride opportunities on our farm, they are part of our fundraising and outreach efforts and we do not offer pony rides off site.

Pony Play Dates: these are designed for our youngest riders and offer the elements of a regular lesson in a format specially designed for children to encourage participation, safety and fun. Schedule a private 30 minute session or share a 60 minute session with a friend or 2! We provide helmets and children need only wear long pants and hard soled shoes. There is no obligation and you can schedule as few or as many as you like! This is a great way to introduce kids to riding before they are ready for regular weekly instruction. Contact us for more information.
If you are a member of the PET PALS club you can also earn credits for FREE pony play dates!
Riding Lessons: We offer lead line and short stirrup lessons for smaller children and younger children. Over the years we have recongnized the need to provide quality instruction on small ponies that children can manage on their own. We want to encourage our students to groom, tack and care for their own mounts at lesson times and the small size of our ponies makes that more manageable for them. Weekly lessons are one hour in length and include supervised grooming/tacking/care and riding. Please contact us for more information and a tour.
MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS REWARDS! Become a member of Hidden Haven Farm OR the PET PALS Club and you will earn discounts on activities, get invitations to members only events and earn great rewards!
Our ponies are available for outreach events! Please contact us if you would like to schedule a visit to a school or other location where we can teach you all about pony care. We also have tours available on the farm!
