Do you have a horse-crazy child in your life? Most stables will not take children younger than 8 in their programs. At Hidden Haven, we feel it is important to give even the youngest children the opportunity to interact with horses, even if they are not old enough for regular instruction. That is why we developed Pony Play Date! This program allows you to schedule individual sessions for your child in which they are introduced to the basics of grooming, tacking and riding and where the emphasis is on fun and safety! We accept children as young as 3 for Play Dates and have 3 specially trained small ponies to lead the fun! Want to share your child’s riding time with a friend? We can accommodate that too! We have several options for pony fun at Hidden Haven and even a club especially for our youngest equestrians!
Riders in this program need only wear long pants and hard soled shoes. We provide the helmets, the ponies and the fun! Parents and other adult guests are welcome to take as many photos and videos as they like as our ponies are well trained and camera ready!
Single Rider Half Hour Session- $35
2 Riders, One Hour Session- $50
Additional riders can be accommodated for a fee, please contact us for details.
Prices listed are for P.E.T. Pals members, non members please add $5 per session to the fee.
